Our quality of service is continuously checked through the tourist reports we ask our clients to fill in after every trip. In these reports, all the aspects of our activity are evaluated on an ABCDE basis. This helps us to keep improving our service day by day.
The following testimonials are all original extracts from our tourist reports. They have not been invented, neither are they the result of our imagination to give a misleading image of our service to our website visitors. All these reports are available at our office in Cusco. We have not facilitated the e-mail addresses of neither of our clients for obvious reasons. However, if you wish to contact any of the writers, please let us know and we will let you know their addresses once we get their authorization.

I had a wonderful time! I have never experienced anything so beautiful…..the trek was difficult, but incredibly rewarding. It was something I will cherish forever. The porters, cook guide (Hernan) were very friendly and extremely accomodating. the food surpassed my expectations and the tea in the morning made me feel simply spoiled! I am amazed at the strength and the speed of the porters meeting us at the end of each day with warm smiles. Hernan was experienced and informative. He made us feel at home and was encouraging the entire time.
I would recommend the same tour to anyone who expresses interest in the Inka Trail.
Thank you so much I could not have wished for a better adventure!
p.s. I just might do it again one day!

Dear Hernan,
I just wanted to write to you to say thank you for everything. We had such a fantastic time and really enjoyed the Inca Trail with you . it was one of the most amazing experiences of our lives, it was just a shame I was not feeling too well! The shef and the porters were incredible too. I am going to collect my photographs this afternoon and I can not wait to show them to everyone.
I am back in London now, and the trek seems a long time ago. I have sent you a picture of Vicky & me just so you remember who we are!
If you are ever in London, look me up and if there is anything I can do for you
I hope you like your preset.
All the best

Hernan led a group of six of us along the Inca Trail, through the ruins of Machu Picchu, and up to Waynu Picchu. Those five days withHernan as our guide were the highlight of our trip to Peru. His knowledge of the Incan culture was astounding, as was his ability to make the ruins come to life through his storytelling. His English is impeccable though he was still willing to humor our attempts to converse in Spanish. His knowledge of the surrounding area was incredible and he was able to answer the multitude of questions we asked along the trail including numerous identifications of local animal and plant life. Hernan set a great pace for the hike that was satisfying to our whole group. Not only was Hernan an absolutely amazing guide, but also we now consider him to be a great friend. He far exceeded any of our expectations and we highly recommend him to all!

Overall, we were very fortunate to have Hernan as our guide on the Inca trail, and would recommend him to anyone who is looking to get the most out of their Machu Picchu experience.

[divider style=”line”]We had an excellent 4-day trek on the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu. We
highly recommend hiking with Hernan Hermoza and his team of porters!
They were all so friendly, and they took care of us in a professional
manner every step of the way. Hernan has a wealth of information to
offer on the local flora and fauna, the Quechua culture, and the Incan
history. Hernan is fluent in English (mucho mejor que mi español)
and we had many great conversations on the trek. The cook prepared us
hearty & delicious meals every day, and the porters set up a very
comfortable camp for us each night. This great experience will stay
with us forever. MANY THANKS to our wonderful guide Hernan and his
team for giving us this amazing adventure of a lifetime!

Dear Hernan
(that is king hernan)
Machupicchu is a miracle but surely getting you as our tour guide is an even greater miracle. I am forever changed from this journey and even though I was a “drama queen” and a “damsel in distress” Ayuta me aiuta me!! Holy Moly guacamole (winder made the best guacamole) to go on a journey such as this you have to place a lot of trust in people and I am so grateful my trust was in you and your crew. Those mountains sure are lucky that you are married to the mountains I am sure, Hernan, that if I were a mountain, I ’d have a crush on you too!
Yabadabbadoo whackadoo! Is your mama a llama? “soy malada!” muchas grasias please email and visit California.
Miss love, Susie Siegel

Hernan (aka “Bones” )
Gracias por los “Miradors”! thanks for an excellent tour of the Inca Trail Machupicchu. Gracias for the “albino Viscacha” and the “Bomarias” and “Lupines”.
Gracias for laughing at all of our bad jokes and providing the beginning of our Español vocabulary. Your energy is refreshing and your obvious love of nature and Incan history is admirable.
Thanks for being historian, naturalist, environmentalist and friend.
Hasta luego!

My name is Doug Engfer. Starting on 29 March 2008 my wife, Robin, and I were part of the Tom and Connie Wilson party that undertook the Salkantay trek to Machu Picchu. Our guide was Hernan Hermoza. I write today to let you know what a wonderful job Hernan did with our group.
By way of background, our group was quite varied in many respects. We ranged from 22 to 54 years of age. We had some experienced backpackers, and some who had never trekked before. We had some fast folks and some slow ones. We had some meat-eaters and some vegetarians. What a group!
However, Hernan handled his role beautifully, with good humor, great wit, and a calm demeanor. We each learned much from him about the land, the people, the culture, and the history of the world we were exploring for the first time. Hernan also paced the hike well, so that we ended up in lovely camp sites each and every night of the trip. In particular, Hernan took the time to get to know each of us at various points during the trek, delivering insights that were key to what each of us was seeking. My wife, Robin, and I especially appreciate Hernan’s willingness to work with Robin on the first day of our hike, getting her into camp under her own power, even after dark (after our start was delayed due to an impassable road that caused the bus driver to turn back).
Please know that you have someone special on your team in Hernan. We look forward to returning to Peru, and trekking with him again.
Best,
Doug and Robin Engfer
